Contrast Pocket Tunic - Blue and Orange Stripe Print

We have a new tunic block at last, after many requests for one! Much like our tunic vest from the Game Changer Collection, our Contrast Pocket Tunic is hand-block printed in our bold Orange and Blue Thick Stripe print. It has beautiful deep pockets with contrast fabric using our orange and teal waffle print. This must be the most versatile tunic of the season, with its rounded neckline and v-cut feature, the straps are thick and sleeveless, so works best to layer with a bold orange skivvy in the winter, or pair with a pair of cord flares and you’re ready to race out the door. Whether you choose to wear this hand-spun and hand-woven textured khadi piece as a dress on its own on a hot summer day or layered with a polo-neck and pants in the colder months.

The bold hand-block printed Stripe has become a signature of The ANJELMS Project, as we believe that stripes are timeless and playful, which is everything a garment should be! They are a nod to Gaelle’s French heritage and work to elongate the silhouette of the garment. Made with our midweight Khadi cotton for extra breathability and ultimate comfort all year around. Tapered in a soft A-line, allowing ease of movement. Team it up with statement earrings and you will be ready to take on any occasion!

As always, our garments are designed in Fremantle, Western Australia. Made ethically from 100% hand-loomed Khadi Cotton in Pushkar, India by The Stitching Project. Designs are hand-carved onto wooden blocks. Then Pawan, our block printer at The Stitching Project, places each block onto the cloth after dipping the block into the ink board. This process is repeated hundred times over with amazing precision and experience to create the perfect patterns. All our dyes are Global Organic Textile Standards (G.O.T.S.) Certified and our fabric and processes are Craftmark Certified. Each of our Garments is proudly signed by every craftsperson who has had a hand in making it.
