In this challenging time, what coping mechanisms have you installed in your daily life? (Routine, rituals, etc)

I’ve been surprised to have embraced lockdown, largely due to daily rituals that I had instigated a couple of years ago. Those rituals and routines have deepened in their significance for me, since COVID-19 exploded into our lives. 

I met Ai-Ch’ng over 10 years ago when she strolled in my little market store then full of batik and Ikat treasures from our beginnings with the team in Bali. We connected straight away over our passion for cultural diversity and heritage, for our families, our hopes for our children, the fun we have using fashion as a way to express our personalities. We both love life, people, laugh and...endless conversations as you will discover.

Who is Morgan? What motivated you to start Open Hands Creative?

Well, I am often described as the free-spirited girl who runs around barefoot and hair down. I am positive, hardworking, yet quiet. I am all things creative. A day doesn’t go by where I am not making, not thinking of the next project! Sometimes I think my brain is so full of all these creative ideas that there is no room for anything else. Which is why I have a terrible memory.
