Good quality thread makes all the difference to peaceful and soothing slow stitching.
We use and love Coats Anchor No 8.
It does not bleed, it comes on an easy to use ball, it has a slight sheen and does not snag easily.
HINT: Cut the thread from the ball, thread from the outside end of the length, tension thread after threading by running between your fingertips. sorts out any little kinks it might have been thinking about.
