Good quality thread makes all the difference to peaceful and soothing slow stitching. This Coats Anchor No. 8 cotton thread is hand plant-dyed with the GOTS certified dyes used in our plant dyed collection, a favourite for all craft enthusiasts.

  • This is Coats Anchor No 8 thread. Each skein is about 32m and 10g.

    Each colour matches all our Khadi metrage fabrics as they are dyed in the same dyebaths by Praveen at The Stitching Project. It does not bleed and easy to use. The yarn has a slight sheen and does not snag easily.

  • HINT: Cut the thread from the ball, thread from the outside end of the length, tension thread after threading by running between your fingertips. This will sort out any little kinks it might have been thinking about.

Have purchased 4 different colours of silk sari yarn…they’re so lovely to work with for coiled baskets, applique and all sorts of craft applications. Colours are gorgeous…
