This length of twine is handmade from upcycled sarees, and comes in a gloriously random assortment of patterns and colours.
Adaptable for so many projects for craft, schools and the home.
The twine is made by very tightly twisting each of two single 40mm strip of sari fabric to make a very strong, colourful and pliable length of twine.
Our Fair Trade artisans are located in Bangladesh. The women who work for the enterprises are widows, divorcees or head-of-households with little or no income.
