What is Khadi? 

Khadi is a traditional hand-spun and hand-woven fabric native to India. It's known for its natural texture, breathability, and sustainability. Khadi fabric is typically made from cotton, although it can also be crafted from silk or wool. It holds historical significance as it played a crucial role in India's independence movement led by Mahatma Gandhi.

How do I wash/take care of my garment? 

We recommended to hand wash with a mild, natural detergent in cold water and avoid wringing or twisting the fabric. Line drying in the shade is preferable to direct sunlight to prevent colour fading of natural plant dyes. Iron your garment inside out on a low to medium heat setting while the garment is still damp. This can help maintain its shape and texture.

What is your standard sizing and where can I find it on your website? 

Standard sizing information is available on the product page of each of our garments on our website (located directly under the product name). This includes the measurements in centimetres and inches for each different size so that you can be sure that you can find your perfect fit. Our sizing chart is based on standard Australian Sizing.

What is your shipping policy? Domestic Australian and International? 

We offer free Domestic shipping on all orders within Australia. If you are ordering from overseas postage is at the cost of the customer and will be calculated at the checkout once you have entered your postal address. Please keep in mind that customs taxes of the country in which you live are not the same as postage costs. If you incur customs taxes when your order from The ANJELMS Project arrives in your country the charges are your responsibility.
Typically, domestic shipping within Australia takes 2-5 business days, while international shipping can vary depending on the destination country and chosen shipping method.
